Relationship Coaching
So often we think that to create and have a good relationship, we must be with someone who thinks, feels and acts just like us. Or at the very least, both parties need to be on the "same page." But then we find ourselves in relationships, whether intimate, social or work related, where things are just not working out. In order to feel good again, we think we need to figure out how to change the other person.
Working with a coach will help you understand how the actions that we observe from those around us are simply based on their own belief systems and it's not necessary to take things personally. This lessens the blame that we put on others and reduces the amount of false assumptions that we make about the other person's intentions behind their actions.
The most important relationship for improving all of our relationships is the one we have with ourselves. When we are secure with ourselves and love ourselves unconditionally, it removes the dependency that we have on acceptance from others. We can't change others as easily as we can change ourselves. We can change any of the relationships in our lives by first focussing on the relationship with have with ourselves. It's all in your control. Love yourself first and then the actions and behaviors of others won't cause you to suffer.
